Moorlite (“Moorlite,” “we,” “us”) operates the moorlite.com website and the Moorlite streaming applications on connected-TV and other platforms (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Moorlite is a free, ad-supported streaming service.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide: if you create an optional account, we collect your email address. You can use much of the Service without an account.
Usage and device data: we automatically collect information about how you use the Service — titles viewed, watch duration, app interactions — and technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and approximate (region-level) location.
Advertising data: because the Service is ad-supported, our advertising partners may collect device identifiers and similar data to deliver and measure ads (see Section 4).
2. How we use information
To provide, maintain, and improve the Service and recommend titles.
To deliver and measure advertising that funds free streaming.
To analyze performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
To communicate with you about the Service if you have given us your email.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, content delivery, analytics) and with advertising partners as described below, and we may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
4. Advertising
The Service shows video ads. Our ad partners and the platforms our apps run on (such as connected-TV platforms) may use device identifiers, cookies, and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including interest-based advertising.
You can limit ad tracking through your device settings — for example, the "Limit Ad Tracking" or "Reset Advertising ID" controls on your TV, phone, or streaming-device platform.
5. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of certain sharing for targeted advertising.
7. Data retention & security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
