Moorlite Creator Agreement

Effective July 2026 · Version creator-v1.1-2026-07

1. What you are granting

You grant Moorlite a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license to stream, display, promote, and run advertising against the film(s) you submit and that we approve. "Non-exclusive" means you keep the right to distribute your film anywhere else, at any time. You retain full ownership and copyright of your work.

2. Your revenue share — 60%

You receive 60% of the net advertising revenue actually earned from your film(s). "Net advertising revenue" means the ad revenue attributable to your content after deducting payment-processor fees and direct ad-serving costs. There is no aggregator or middleman taking an additional cut. Moorlite retains the remaining 40% to operate, market, and grow the platform.

3. How and when you get paid

Earnings accrue to your account and are paid out once your balance reaches the minimum payout threshold (initially $50), on a monthly basis, to the payment details you provide. You are responsible for any taxes on amounts you receive. We will provide reporting on views and earnings for your titles.

4. Your promises about the content

You confirm that you own or control all rights to each film you submit, including all music, footage, performances, and likenesses shown, and that streaming it on Moorlite will not infringe anyone's rights. You agree to indemnify Moorlite against claims arising from content you submitted that you did not have the rights to.

5. Content standards

Submitted content must not be illegal, contain CSAM, incite violence, or violate others' rights. Moorlite may decline, remove, or stop monetizing any title at its discretion, and will tell you why where reasonable.

6. Advertising

Because Moorlite is ad-supported, you agree that we may place advertising (including pre-roll, mid-roll, and display ads) in and around your content. The revenue from that advertising is what your 60% share is calculated from.

7. Ending the agreement

Either side can end this agreement with 30 days' written notice (email is fine). On termination we will stop streaming your title within a reasonable period and pay out any earnings above the minimum threshold. Sections about ownership, payment of accrued earnings, and indemnity survive termination.

8. Independent parties

You are an independent creator, not an employee or partner of Moorlite. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.

9. How you accept this agreement

You accept this agreement by signing it — typing your full legal name and checking the acceptance box — or by creating a Filmmaker account. In particular, if you sign up with Google (or another single sign-on provider) and choose the Filmmaker account type, you are by default accepting this Creator Agreement: your choice to continue as a filmmaker is your signature, and we record it with your name, the agreement version, and a timestamp. You can read the full terms on this page at any time before submitting a film, and you may end the agreement as described in Section 7.

Filmmakers accept this agreement by signing (typing their legal name) when they create a filmmaker account or submit a film. Acceptance is recorded with the version above and a timestamp.
